The Filthy Rags 'Christian!

But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away. And there is no one who calls on Your name, Who stirs himself up to take hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us, And have consumed us because of our iniquities. Isa64:6-7

Is there anything WRONG with DOING what is RIGHT? If you listen to the present day professed Christian Pundits you would think that anyone actually 'doing what is Right in God's sight is the WORSE deceiver who ever walked the face of the earth! Today the mantra it 'he who does what is Right is Self-Righteous and he who sins daily and admits their service to God is filthy rags is on the fast track to heaven. WHY are professed Christians so adverse to DOING what is Right by a faith Working by love and Purifying their heart of Sin through Obedience to the Truth? That's our question today, what makes the vast majority of 'believers so opposed to Righteousness that they will boast proudly in their unrighteousness?

Almost all of Professed Christianity is taught: 'If we say we have no sin there is no truth in us' 1Jh1:8, meaning 'if we say we are not sinners, sinning now and will remain sinners to death, we lie and know not the truth'. They collectively believe that Jesus 'died for their sins, took God's full Wrath in their place, actually 'became sin on the Cross and magically transfers His own personal Virtue to them when they 'Receive Him by faith. Under this scheme no personal effort is required (not of works) to stop sinning or come clean with God in repentance. Repentance is 'admitting your a helpless sinner, wretched to the core and will humbly remain so as a 'sinner Saved by Grace. So in their minds sin (or the actual commission of sinful acts) keeps them HUMBLE as a constant reminder of how much they need Jesus and His loving kindness to 'Cover their pattern of wrong doings until they receive a 'glorified body that can 'sin no more. (hence; they repent or 'confess for the remainder of their lives as 'Christians)

This is the 'Filthy Rags Profession of the evangelical sub-culture in which everyone belongs to their fraternity of holy iniquity and Proudly proclaims we all 'sin daily in thought, word and deed and if anyone denies it they are Self-righteous liars commended to hell for trying to 'earn their salvation by 'works. And NO amount of Scriptural logic can deter them from their destructive course of action, their 'belief that sin keeps them humble and in need of Christ is iron clad and sealed in stone. To them Paul is the CHIEF of Sinners, every Bible Saint is a wretch and NO ONE in the entire history of mankind has ever been Righteous. (except Christ of course) YET the Bible is a constant comparison between the Righteous and the Wicked:   

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Ps34:15-16

Evil shall slay the wicked and those who hate righteousness will be condemned Ps34:2, They repay me evil for good and slander me because I pursue righteousness Ps37

 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love, Ps109:5, The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. Ps18:20

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Jh3:7-9

By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. Heb11:4
He was RIGHTEOUS by making the EFFORT to offer God a MORE excellent Sacrifice than Cain. WHY did Cain Kill him? 1Jh3:12 'Because his deeds were evil and his brother's Righteous!' Same reason you hate us because we testify, like Able, that we are DOING what God has TOLD us to DO! And anyone who obeys God is the enemy.
Noah, Daniel and Job were all delivered by their own Righteousness! Ezk14:14 Elizabeth & Aaron were both Righteous, Lk1:6 and ANY Nation that fears God and Worketh Righteousness is accepted by Him! Acts10:35

But they have an answer for everything, no matter what Christ says or the Scriptures, they have an instant retort:
Jesus says: 'Do your first Works!'  They say: 'It's not of Works'
Jesus says: 'Produce deeds Worthy of Repentance', They say: 'Admit your a sinner and confess'
Bible says: 'He who Does what is Right is Righteous', They say: 'No one is Righteous'
Jesus says: 'Judge Righteous Judgment', They say: 'Judge not'
Bible says: 'Cleanse Self of all Filthiness and Wickedness', They say: 'All our acts are filthy rags'

Bible says: 'Depart from iniquity, go and sin no more', They say: 'If I could stop sinning wouldn't need Jesus

As you can see (if not blind by lie) they will Repay you evil for good and Slander you because you pursue Righteousness. Stand fast in Purity of heart and Righteousness of life and be hated by all! To them its a Bigger Sin to STOP Sinning, then to claim Victory over lust, selfishness and greed.

Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Rev19:7-8

Righteous DEEDS are taboo to the filthy Rags crowd, but SERVICE is required. That's why the WORSE Church in Rev2:19-20 (Thyatira) excelled in 'Works, love and Service', BUT were involved in adultery, fornication, drunkenness and all manner of uncleanness (the depths of Satan!) wholly DISQUALIFIED from the Kingdom and in utter chaos and delusion. Much like today, Service abounds, Charitable outreach is plentiful, but Morality is appalling because everyone is so PROUD of their Sins!

They Call Paul the Chief of Sinners and Strive to follow in his Steps. But Paul himself Said:
'Imitate me as I imitate Christ!' 1Cor11:1  'Would a Chief Sinner say such a thing?
'My Conscience is Clean before God and man, void of offense' Acts24:16  HOW if he sinned all the time?
'Our conduct was blameless and pure', 1Thes1:10, BUT you blame him of sin!

And even 1Tim1:13-16 (where he is accused of sin) he says his lifestyle is a PATTERN to all!

Formally he was a blasphemer and Sinner! NOW he lived by Faithfulness to God's Commands in Purity, Sincerity and love, 1Tim1:5. WHOSE the Liar, the 'filthy rags crowd or the so-called 'sinning Saints,

Produce Fruits Worthy: Matt3:8, Lk3:8, Acts24:18-21

WHO is Found NOT Worthy:  'Worthy', axious, 'Having weight of value, merit toward something of value

 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Mat10:37-39

Would you Present 'filthy rags to your Bride and further to her as you Wife, NEVER! So WHY do you keep insisting you can Present them to GOD and still be found Worthy for the Kingdom? Sin is filthy, stinking, rotten, disgusting, unclean, ruinous and will destroy your soul. Could GOD be Pleased with a Sacrifice that became Sin and deserved the Outpouring of His Wrath, is SICK to even contemplate! Bible says: Jesus sacrifice was sweet smelling aroma, Pleasing and acceptable on the altar of Mercy. If you believe it reeks from the stench of Sin NO WONDER your own Life also Reeks with the same Disgusting odor! (a pile of rotten stinking rags you think will magically be changed into Pure White linen in the resurrection)

He who Commits (doeth, doth) Sin (produces, like a bad tree producing bad fruit) is of the devil, he who DOES (doeth, poieo; Produces) what is Right is Righteous as HE IS RIGHTEOUS! HOW could a person be required to continually Confess 'they have sin, are sinning, will sin' IF the commission of Sin makes you of the devil? If everything Jesus taught pertained ONLY to Discipleship, WHY isn't anyone actually DOING what He said? 'Go and sin no more, Strive to enter the Narrow gate, Count the Cost, take up your Cross, deny yourself!' BECAUSE (in your mind) it's ALREADY been DONE!! So any attempt you make is still 'FILTHY RAGS, (so you will claim to cover your wrong doings as mistakes, inevitable slip ups instead of transgression of the moral law)

FREE GIFT is Remission of Past Sins, Rom3:25, by Blood of Christ, nothing in Law could remit Past willful sin, but man must be Reconciled to God through Repentance and Faith Proven by Deeds! God has done His Part and is Convicting and Drawing people through His Spirit. He is not willing any Perish, but they MUST come to a Real Repentance for Reconciliation and Remission to take place. We cannot be 'Saved (reconciled) through Ritual and Sacrifice, but we can Touch the Blood through repentance and faith. We do our Part and God will do His. There's no Boasting in a broken, cleansing repentance.
