The Whole Armor of God

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph6:11

Can a Christian be ‘Saved one moment and ‘Lost the next? In the ‘Jesus Paid it all world it’s impossible to imagine a convert ‘NOT Sinning daily in thought, word and deed. In fact they are strictly cautioned against putting forth any effort to Stop sinning lest they be found trying to ‘Save themselves without Jesus, consequently in the Christian profession, the Sin NEVER Stops. So the question of whether or not a person can forfeit their Salvation by committing a sin after conversion is moot in their book. The concept of resisting (or standing against) the ‘wiles of the devil is not in their lexicon. The battle is already won, the war is Finished, Jesus paid it all and DID it all in their place and further effort is no longer required! Walking in such manner before God as to ‘give no place (foot-hold) to the devil’ Eph4:27, has no bearing on the outcome of their Salvation. In their minds Satan is a toothless old Dragon who poses no further threat to the ‘Church and all he can do is run around falsely accusing the believers  trying to convince them they’re not ‘saved when they ‘mess up in Sin.

This is why so FEW ever come out of the System because the natural function of their moral conscience has ceased to accuse them of wrong doing. (Rom2:14) They ‘CANNOT deny the Sin ‘in them lest they be counted as liars without truth, so any ‘Conviction (that may pierce their magic cover) is passed off as the devil making another attempt to inject doubt about their salvation. It’s the perfect recipe for a Strong Delusion that renders the human conscience inoperable. Since they can ‘Sin and not Die’ because Jesus has them covered, the floodgates of corruption are wide open and the Spirit is quenched. So as Satan was able by his ‘craftiness to deceive Eve, 2Cor11:3, he has (through the centuries) been even more successful in bringing the Professed Christian System under his dominion through an ‘entirely DIFFERENT gospel eagerly embraced by the masses who ‘receive it with joy and sin on with impunity.

The New Testament Saints understood clearly that Satan, although stripped of his advantage by the Cross, (Col2:15) was STILL: ‘The god of this age, the Prince and Power of the air and the roaring lion prowling around for souls to devour. (2Cor4:4, Eph6:11, 1Pet5:8) He was a KNOWN adversary who ruled the kingdom of darkness and held Sway (influence) over the entire world. Getting caught in his ‘Snare (1Tim3:6-7, 2Tim2:26) meant disaster to the soul and an all out effort was required to keep a constant vigil against his cunning devices of evil.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1Pet5:8-9

Given the fact that NONE of this is taught to professed Christians in the System and there’s no possibility of their on going sins disqualifying them from the Kingdom, those who retain an inkling of conscience and begin to realize their soul is in great jeopardy under these lies, MUST ‘come out from among them’ 2Cor6:17, and embrace the fact that they have NEVER been truly Saved to begin with! THIS is the most difficult part of the coming out, because many have a strong tendency to ‘look back on their ‘Church life and see periods of time in which they felt totally sincere in their desire to serve God and stop sinning. But inevitably they always ‘fell back into their same old patterns of bondage and deeper despair. Now with the Light of Truth shinning through for the first time in their lives, they begin to wonder; ‘did I backslide and lose my Salvation? And if so how does that explain the MANY times I repeated this pattern, playing the Prodigal over and over again!’ So Back to our original question restated: ‘Can a Christian be saved and lost repeatedly throughout a number of years in which they fell into sin and came back’ ….

The answer is: ‘The Sin NEVER STOPPED’ therefore real Repentance and Salvation has NOT taken place. If you didn’t stop sinning even after you supposedly ‘received Jesus, what makes you think you can stop now until your come clean with God and realize its your job to stop?
This is the FACT you must wholly embrace if you are ever to escape the System of error or your sin. Your ‘first work has YET to be done, a full departure from iniquity in the Process of a thorough Repentance!

The concerns you are having about a ‘Second Repentance and going past the point of no return are unfounded, you must focus on the here and now. Your consciousness is awakened to the dire need of repentance. THIS is the time to act, TODAY is the day of Salvation! Don’t worry about the past and whether or not you were sincere with God, your pattern of repeated failure proves you were NOT. It is ONLY after you have come to grips with the reality of your present condition before God and decide to come clean with Him in a real Repentance that you will be able to Partake of His exceedingly great and precious promises and ESCAPE the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2Pet1:3-4) Otherwise you will NEVER fully understand what you are up against on the Narrow Way to eternal life and WHY Jesus told His followers to make every agonizing (strive Lk13:24) effort required to enter His Kingdom. The Prodigal did not return again and again to the Pig Pen, he ROSE up (once and for all) leave his past life behind and RETURNED to the Father! (Lk15:17-18) Initial Redemption can only take place in a departure from iniquity because the Holy Spirit will only indwell a vessel Purged and Purified and made FIT for the Master’s use. 2Tim2:19-21

You have everything necessary for this to happen at your disposal, (freely given) IF you will utilize it by faith as a ‘worker together with God. (2Cor6:1)  IF you are now ‘coming out (of the false gospel System) and being beleaguered by doubt, despair and the besetting sins you’ve fallen into over and over again, it’s time to stop playing games and PUT forth the diligent effort required to empty yourself of all guile and deceit. You have sold yourself into the servitude of Satan. He holds your Mind captive but NOT your Will, BUT you MUST make the first move! The liars say its impossible to stop sinning the Bible says otherwise:

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. Js4:7-10

Contrary to everything you’ve been taught in the System, it’s your JOB to ‘Crucify the flesh with its passions and desires and Put to death the deeds of the body once and for all in the Process of Repentance. Gal5:25, Rom6:4-6 are Past-Tense actions DONE in the process of Repentance, NOT to be repeated over and over again or gradually over time. Newness of Life is the immediate aftermath of dying with Christ and experiencing the ‘Washing, Regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus3:5, Old things have passed away and ALL things become NEW! 2Cor5:17.

The Bible says that FAITH is the Victory that overcomes the world! 1Jh5:4-5.  BUT it’s speaking of a FAITH that OBEYS the Truth and PURIFIES the heart of sin. Not the sin-confess; mess up profession you are coming out of in the System. Only this kind of faith can Put on the Whole Armor of God and withstand the powers of darkness, but its YOU who must PUT on the Helmet of Salvation, the Breastplate of Righteousness and Pick up the Sword of Truth, Jesus doesn’t do it for you. There’s no Temptation overtaken you but what is COMMON to man, that God will not provide a WAY of escape IF you will take it! 1Cor10:13 (But He won’t take it for you!)

It’s your ‘daily Choice to Put His promises into action by adding to your faith and working out your salvation in fear and trembling. (2Pet1:5, Phil2:12) This is a race you must run with endurance to the end, never looking back and always keeping your eyes fixed on the Prize. (2Tim4:7-8, Heb12:1-2) If you DO these things you will neither stumble nor fall and all the deception, temptations and strong delusions Satan minions can throw at you will be of no avail. But never under estimate his snares and deceptions, remember he is your adversary and has millions of loyal disciples doing his bidding, including lying signs and wonders! (2Thes2:9-10) These are the Ministers of Righteousness preaching the ‘saved in sin gospel 24/7 world wide, who appear godly but are leading millions down the wide road to destruction! It’s NOT enough to Know the Truth you must also LOVE and OBEY it at all Cost!
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2Cor11:13-15

Falling back into Sin is NOT an option! Dispense with the thought of it, if you Love God you will HATE Sin, Ps97:10, Prov8:13. If you are (truly) filled with the Spirit of Truth you have everything you need at your disposal to Continue in it. Jesus made it very Simple: (its your pastors who confuse the issue!)
But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great. Lk6:47-49

Here is your daily Choice, He is the Lord, His Commands are Truth (the Rock) if you KEEP them Dig Deep and BUILD your foundation on the ROCK, nothing will shake it. BUT (again) YOU have to put forth the effort required to build this house, He WILL NOT build it for you! This is the exact Opposite of the Church mind-set you came out from where Jesus paid it all and did it all. But they are building ‘WITHOUT a FOUNDATION’, based on myths, fables and fallacies. You have gone through a Paradigm Shift (radical transformation, Rom12:1-2) NOW you have to use your new found Faith to unravel the many lies, deceptions and strong delusions that have kept you in bondage to sin for so long. This is WAR!

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 2Cor10:3-6

Just as a soldier in the trenches you are assaulting the ramparts (Strongholds) of spiritual darkness encompassing the massive System of error posing as Christianity in every realm of our society today. You dare not be lax in your efforts or grow complacent in your quest. The enemy NEVER sleeps and his loyal minions are hard at work dispensing the ‘saved in sin gospel. Not everyone (you may encounter) is what they ‘appear to be. Many have the appearance of a Lamb but speak the Language of the Dragon! (Rev13:11) You must DISCERN between the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Error, TEST the Spirits against the wholesome Words of Jesus Christ and His Doctrine which is in accord with godliness and self-control.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1Jh4:1

Always Remember that our Point of Departure and Great Divide with spirit of error is WHEN does the Sin Stop. If they are NOT teaching that it STOPS in the Process of Repentance BEFORE Pardon can be granted and the Holy Spirit indwells, they are of the spirit of error. NAIL down this first with anyone you encounter and you will remain on track with the Truth. They may be sly and cunning in their use of Scripture and able to expertly ‘twist certain passages into compliance with their doctrine. BUT don’t allow yourself to be persuaded by their high sounding rhetoric. STICK to the Fundamentals:

Man is NOT Born a Sinner, inbred with a sin nature or unable to stop sinning and obey God, he has a free will and the ability to choose between right and wrong. Christ did NOT Suffer the Wrath of God on the Cross or magically transfer His Righteousness to anyone. Man must produce deeds worthy of repentance and come clean with God before pardon can be granted and the Spirit given. He cannot be ‘saved in his sins, come as is or ‘receive Jesus. You Come on HIS terms humbly repenting and hoping that He Receives you! Jesus said as the people of Nineveh repented so you must, or perish in your sins. Mat12: 39-42, Jonah3:5-10  Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

Perhaps if you also will DO similar works, God will forgive your past sins and refresh your spirit. Acts3:19
