Perfecting Sin
But where Sin abounded, Grace abounded much more! Rom5:20
Most professed Christians today have numbered themselves among the wicked and believe they will be Saved by Perfecting Sin as they constantly say:
"none good no not one, man's heart is deceitfully wicked, all our works are as filthy rags, if we say we have no sin we all go astray from the womb speaking lies, its not of works, no one is perfect, we all sin daily in thought, word and deed, and of course when someone points to their sin they cry: 'Judge not lest ye be Judged
The problem is they think Christ came to Save them from the Law
(that is from having to keep it, having kept it for them) by faith alone, not of
works. (meaning not of any effort whatsoever on their part) They cannot separate
the 'Works of Faith form the Works of the Law', they will agree that 'works
follow faith, but, when you speak of 'Works of Righteousness done in faith' they
run and hide. It’s the Effort they despise, having to Walk Worthy of
Christ in order to enter His Kingdom. They think by numbering themselves with
the transgressors makes them humble and more acceptable to Christ, in the
actuality of sin in their lives. But little do they know that when they cry 'not
of works' they are in reality perfecting the 'WORKS'
of sin!
The truth is every person is engaged in 'Works every day.
Either DOING the works of God, or the works of the devil. (1Jh3:7,
He who Does what is Right is Righteous, he who sins is of the devil) Its one or
the other, an unavoidable FACT, you Can Not be in a state of neutrality
when it comes to works. They constantly say: 'But our
good works won’t get us into heaven!'
TRUE if understood properly, because only God can forgive past sins.
However, are they to be so foolish to actually think the works of sin
will get them into heaven? Isn't the 'Sinful-perfection (we all sin every
day, etc) gospel a works based doctrine? YES, the 'works' of the devil---SIN!
So your 'not of works' mantra falls flat against the Truth. That's why when the
professed come to Christ at the Judgment claiming good works, He calls them
'workers of iniquity', Matt7:23, because they never ceased from their
own works of sinful rebellion in repentance.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is what restrains evil because it was
Christ that bound the strongman and his goods (Sin) Remove the gospel
from the church and we have clear visibility as to who the MAN OF SIN
actually is:
'The active sinner saved by grace',
identifiable by the Stigma (Mark) of their own wrong doings! There is
no need to go looking for an antichrist boogie-man to fulfill Paul’s prophecy. The whole Institutional Professed Christian System is antichrist dispensing the Mark of the Beast 24/7 on all who buy into their UNIVERSAL Greasy-Grace not of works gospel! Isn't this exactly the 1Jh1:9 mantra, you 'steal, murder, commit adultery, fornications, lie cheat call everything you do filthy rags, call the Righteous sinners and then claim advocacy with the Father in Christ; 'We are delivered from all things by what HE Did!'
Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom you know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?" Jeremiah 7:9-10.
STILL they cry; 'He fulfilled the Law, we are no longer under the law but under grace, dead to the law', but how can they be 'DEAD to the Law and continue in the 'works of sin… there's only two ways to go here; either the LAW of Faith or the LAW of sin and death, you cannot escape the consequences of your actions. The LAW of faith is:
Faith Works by Love Gal5:6, Purifies the heart by obedience to the truth, 1Pet1:22, and has Victory over sin, flesh and devil in Christ, 1Jh5:4. Whereas the LAW of Sin and Death Works by active transgression:
1 John 3:4, 'Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law
BOTH
require DOING, those actively sinning are Transgressor of the law, those
actively Obeying God are Righteous, its Faith that upholds and Establishes the
Law! Rom3:31 (the preachers will never tell them that!)
Do
we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we
establish the law.
It's Not enough to merely say 'Love fulfills the law', without defining it from the entire weight of Scripture. If saying 'love fulfills the law' is a merely another way to ignore 'Loving Obedience to Christ, (because He did it for you) then you've made Love of no effect because on loving God with all the heart, mind, soul and strength hangs ALL the Law and Prophets! Mat22:37-40. Does Grace make Void obedience, or does Grace empower Obedience through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit that worketh God’s will to His good pleasure? You 'Work out your salvation, He Works in You, energizing your effort, Phil2:11-12, Faith is Obedience, they occur in unison, you cannot have one without the other, there is no such thing as FAITH ALONE, Js2:24, Loving Christ is Obeying Him! (if you love Me, Keep My Commandments!) THIS is love fulfilling the Law, because Love does no harm to its neighbor, therefore love fulfills the law, Rom13:10. This is also why the 'LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us FREE form the law of sin and death'…
because in the Spirit the WORKS we are doing are of God, not Sin. Is it legalism to OBEY GOD! Initially you Obey from your heart, Rom6:16, You lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word that is ABLE to Save your soul! Js1:21-22. If you fail to do this you cannot be Saved nor can you escape doing the Works of Sin. So crying 'not of works' will do you no good, Jesus is NOT going to repent for you or obey in your place. Who is it that despises Keeping His Commandments in order to enter the Kingdom:
And
the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of
her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus
Christ." Revelation 12:17
So You are either
'Perfecting Sin or Perfecting Love, those who say Obedience is
legalism, trying to earn your salvation by works, have no understanding of the
Law or Love. They claim to be in the Spirit not the letter, but is it
possible to keep the Spirit of the law while violating the letter of the law.
That makes Christ a 'minister of sin. What many professed Christians today call
legalism is in reality submitting to God's Standard of love through obedience.
In other words; many folks seem to think obedience to God is works and legalism,
equating to self-righteousness, making Salvation conditional. However, operating
in Christian faith is indeed works. Works of love! What is love? Is it not
explained in His law? Loving God is OBEYING Him, and that is
Conditional on you Choosing to DO so! The ordinances and ceremonial
sacrificial law has been abolished, replaced by the Law of Faith from an
Obedient heart. Thus the Royal Law, Righteous requirements of the
law (morality, virtue, uprightness) is KEPT by faith, through the
Spirit as a Necessity to entering the Kingdom. BUT you Can't be
Saved or Love God if you have no idea how His Law is applied under Grace. Those
who think they are Saved initially by Faith alone (Trust, receive) no effort
required, no active obedience from the heart, will NEVER understand the
Necessity of Keeping His Commandments or how it will determine the Outcome of
their Salvation. Until the Eyes of their understanding are opened in a genuine
New Birth in Christ they will remain in the dark, doing the works of sin,
believing Christ will Save them as the Roman's Wretch. It's the Realization
within that you MUST DO your part in the process of Redemption that will
propel you through that Narrow Gate on the road to eternal life.
Otherwise you will be numbered with the Goats, Tares, wicked and lazy servants
and whoever loves and maketh a lie.
The Commandments of Jesus Christ in His ministry on earth are all inclusive within the Law of Faith. These Commandments have in no wise been abolished. Jesus Himself established them for His ecclesia to follow/obey, 1Pet2:21-24 'For to THIS you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE to follow His Steps!' Yes, our Past sin are Remitted by the Blood of Jesus Christ as a Free Gift of Grace, (NO other way!) BUT trample under foot His precious gift and dismiss the power of the Blood to Release you the bondage of Sin, by saying the law (righteousness unto obedience) is abolished, not necessary to keep, because HE Kept it for you, and you will perish in your sins.
We’re not Saved by the ‘works of the law’, legalism, ordnances, sacrifices, but to discard the ‘Works of Righteousness that come through faith is insanity, because it by those we may or may not enter the Kingdom. It’s forgiveness of ‘Past Sins that is the free gift of Grace, Rom3:25, eternal life is in the Age to come, Yet to be reaped, given to those who endure to the end. (Tit3:7, Gal6:7-9, Mat10:22) Faith is Faithfulness and fidelity in the Bible, Abraham’s faith was weighed in the balances, found trustworthy and loyal because he was obeying God, therefore ‘Loving God, loving your neighbor, upholding the righteous requirements of the law by faith. That CANNOT be done by doing the works of sin daily calling yourself a sinner saved by grace, claiming you are filthy with a wicked heart.
If you do not understand the
law and its purpose, then you cannot understand the power of the Blood, Grace,
the finished works at Calvary justifying God’s mercy, repentance, Covenant, nor
the righteous influence that is dispensed upon the true believers, (the
empowerment of grace) The greasy-grace movement is that there is no Law,
its self-righteousness to even suggest such a thing, and we shouldn't worry
about striving to overcome and endure, but rather just love, love, love and all
is well. Apparently it is believed by the love crowd that the Law does not
define sin, it is not a big deal, (Christ Paid it all) and we should not strive
to avoid iniquity, but just receive the package deal being dispensed wholesale
within Christendom that are competitively merchandizing souls for gain. They
have no understanding that they’re still Slaves to whom they obey; sin unto
death.
Romans 6:16
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye
are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death,
(the law of sin and death) or
of obedience unto righteousness?
(the law of the Sprit, Willing obedience from the heart) There’s nothing wrong
with the Law, it is good and holy, scripture says, Rom7:7,
Its ‘Death as a consequence of violating it you cannot escape from expect through the blood of Christ. It’s the Law of sin and death we must be freed from, NOT the Law itself, you’ll always be under the Letter, unless you Obey from your heart and freed in Spirit, Rom8:1-4
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
The Christian is no longer the ‘Wretched man, sin daily, filthy rags, perfecting the works of sin thinking he’s under grace. Empowered by Grace, Titus2:11, through faith, in repentance, he has Put to death the deeds of the body, Crucified his sinful passions, ‘weak flesh’, with Christ, Rom6:4-6, ‘Condemned sin in the flesh’ by nailing it to the cross, removing the curse (death) through the blood, Gal3:13, and can now fulfill the righteous requirements of the law through the Spirit. WHY is that so difficult to Understand!
There is
the WORKS of the flesh, Gal5:19-21, or the FRUIT of the Spirit, Gal5:22
If you have received Grace, Titus2:11, godliness and Self-Control will be
apparent in your life, not Sin
If you have received the Spirit,
'love,
joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control, will be apparent in your life, the Law
will be Upheld, because against such there is no law, only Loving Obedience and
the 'works of the flesh' will be Crucified, Put to death in
Christ,
And those
who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Gal5:24
knowing
this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be
done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin Rom6:6
(Past tense, done, Not to be Repeated!)
If the 'works of sin' are still evident in your life because you believe doing the 'works of faith' is a 'works based Salvation, then you are a 'worker of iniquity', regardless of your Trust in Christ's finished work, you have failed in the most basic fundamental step of finding true Redemption in Christ, DOING your part in faithfulness toward Him to begin with! You have received the 'Grace of God in Vain (without purpose to no effect) believed in vain and your sin remains. (2Cor6:1, 1Cor15:1-2, Jh9:41) Certainly ONLY He can forgive our past sins, by Grace through faith, not of works, but if you remain Wretched, filthy, sin daily, sin in you, HOW has His Grace availed anything in your life and HOW can the Holy Spirit dwell in a Vessel still defiled by Sin! He Redeemed us from every LAWLESS Deed, not from the Law itself, if you still 'work iniquity' (if I say I have no sin) the law of sin and death still applies, because if you were Walking in the Law of Love by the Spirit, the Righteous Requirements of the Law are Kept by Faith. That's why Scripture says you're a SLAVE to whom you OBEY, 'Sin unto Death or Obedience unto Righteousness!'
If you keep living after the Flesh (lust, selfish indulgence, filthy rags) you will DIE, Rom8:13, To be Carnally minded, (He did it for me, its not of works, I'm the wretched man) is DEATH, Rom8:6. BUT if YOU by the Spirit (an act you must perform) PUT to Death the DEEDS of the body, WALK in the Spirit, not working iniquity, you will LIVE! It's your Choice, the Law of Sin or the Law of Faith. Which is: Love, Obedience, fidelity and Purity of heart.
It's the inside of the CUP that is cleansed in the Washing, Renewing, Regeneration, the rivers of Living Water Welling up and producing Good Fruit form a Good Tree, the implanted Word taking Deep Root and bringing forth an increase. Obedience from the heart unto righteousness inherits the kingdom, and sin unto death has its own reward if continued. Jesus came to Destroy the Works of the devil (in man, sin & death) and set him FREE from bondage, Living by the principles of God's Law will produce life abundant and in the end life eternal. The carnal mind (sin daily) can't understand this principle because it's spiritually discerned, so they PERFECT Sin, imagining the blood has them covered and Christ is Obeying for them.
God is Drawing ALL men, Commanding them to Repent, Not willing any Perish in Sin, but its CHOICE whether or not to respond, He forces NO ONE to Come who is not Willing to Forsake their Sins and cry out for Mercy. If you Won't make the effort, you will not and cannot be Saved!
