The Clearing

Is this a true statement?.....There is no sin you have to stop doing to get saved...No sin you have to stop doing to stay saved ..In fact if you try and please God by not sinning you cancel Grace out because Salvation is Trusting that God sees you as Jesus not sinning when you sin.

The Above Statement (as outrageous as it may appear) Summarizes the consensus of opinion among modern day Preachers. They know NOTHING of True Repentance and are void of any Saving Faith. Collectively they agree that: ‘God DOES NOT expect you to Stop Sinning Before or After Receiving Jesus as Savior!’ They bring the Old Carnal man into the Kingdom, in his sins, and Promise him Liberty while he Remains a Slave to his own corruption.

The Reason Behind this error is Twofold:

1)       They have Repentance (if any at all) occurring AFTER you Receive Christ

2)       And this Repentance has NOTHING to do with Stopping any sin!

This steams from a Blatant disregard for the understanding of Scripture and the Strong Delusion that comes upon any who ‘exchange the truth of God for a lie!’ Which is EXACTLY what many Preachers and Pastors have done with the issue of Repentance. Although the Scripture are Perfectly clear in his matter they have REVERSED the Process entirely! Note the Following Stated repeatedly in email responses:

“The whole point is that we can not "clean ourselves up.”  Pastor TJ

This appears to be a Sticking point among the Pastors because almost EVERYONE of them responds in this manner concerning ‘Cleaning up’ in the Salvation Process. In other words they are all saying that:

‘You Come to Christ as you are, Covered in your sin, You are Powerless to Stop any of your sin, You Receive Jesus into your heart THEN He can Clean you up over time.’

BUT this eliminates a VITAL Element of Repentance: THE CLEARING! By putting it on the ‘Other’ side of Salvation (so to speak) it NEVER gets done! Converts come to Christ with the old man intact and with the Foregone Conclusion that the sin will continue, but God has already forgiven them for it. The Preachers then KEEP the old man alive by telling everyone that his Crucifixion will take a lifetime of struggle and that his gradual death is a PROCESS of Sanctification God works in us.

They Could not be more WRONG! Scripture is Clear in this matter and EASILY Proves them in error.

Examine the Familiar passage below on the Subject of Repentance. The Corinthian Church was involved in vile and heinous sins of the flesh! (1Cor5:1-2) The Apostle had Warned them that such things would DISQUALIFY them from the Kingdom if left unresolved with God. (1Cor6:9-10) The Repentance came about as a result of this Warning and is noted in 2Cor7:10-11

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 2Cor7:10-11

What Exactly did this Repentance Produce and HOW did it WORK?

It Produced:

1)       Diligence and Zeal in the People Repenting

2)       A Clearing of the Wrong Doing

3)       Godly Fear and Reverence

4)       Vehement Desire, with Zeal to DO what was Right!

It PROVED Them to be CLEAR in all things concerning the matter!

Thus the Biblical PROCESS of True Repentance! THE CLEANING Happens HERE, Not Afterward!

Note the Following Words:

Clearing: Apologia (Eng., "apology"), "a defense against an accusation," signifies, in 2 Cor. 7:11, a clearing of oneself.

Clear: pure, pure from carnality, chaste, modest, pure from every fault, immaculate, clean. Translated Pure in other passages.

The Pastors are WRONG! The Clean up DOES NOT Happen later, as they have all stated, but in the PROCESS of Repentance. In Fact, This is where the PURITY of Heart is derived the Bible Speaks of in Many Passages as the PURPOSE of the Commandment. (1Tim1:5)

If the Wrong Doing is made PURE, as this Passage Proven, by Repentance, then the Old man must ALSO be IMMEDIATELY Put to Death during this Process. WHICH Scripture also PROVES in Rom 6:4-6

The BAPTISM of DEATH or BAPTISM of Repentance! Rom6:6. INDEED, ‘IAM Crucified with Christ’ is shown to have been Completed in the Past, ONCE and for all, NOT to be Repeated! THAT is the CORRECT Translation of this Passage. It is NOT a Gradual Process that happens over time and has NOTHING to do with Sanctification. The old man DIES in Repentance, so the New man can be BORN into the Kingdom and Taught as a Babe the Ways of God with a NEW HEART made PURE in Love!

These Pastors are DEAD WRONG and Preaching a LIE. Their Own Words Prove them in error:

Example 1:

Repentance is the act of saying "I'm sorry" but with the additional emphasis of saying "and with Your help [Jesus] I won't do it again." Repentance means "to turn away from." The Bible states that it is the "blood of Christ" that "cleanses" us. When one receives Jesus [and what He did for us on the Cross], confesses their wrong doing [sin], and repents [as explained above] then we become "new creatures" in Christ Jesus. Repentance in and of itself, although a great step, does not alone cleanse us. PTJ

The whole point is that we can not "clean ourselves up."  If we could then we would not need to receive Jesus. His sacrifice and our acceptance of it, is what  "cleanses" us.  PTJ

Example 2:

Does a person have to crucify the old man in order to get saved? Thanks, DC

Pastor says:   No, you don't have to clean up before you take a bath.

Example 3: “It’s not about Sin!’

Its not all about sins.  Its about an ever growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  You see individual sins are not the issue.  The issue is the root of the sin.  And the root of sin is self.

God knows us intimately.  He knows everything about us.  And even if we aren't participating in the outward forms of sinful behavior he knows whats in the heart and mind and yet he sent Jesus to become the covering for our sins.  And His desire is that we would hunger for knowledge of him.

So you cant clean yourself up enough to come to God.  The relationship is established.  And is established the way I shared with you yesterday.

Response:
These first three examples PROVE our point. The Bible shows that it has Everything to do with sin, and the CLEARING of that sin. Repentance Does the Cleaning, the passage affirms. The RESULT of this True Repentance is PURITY! The passage says Nothing is said about ‘relationship’ working the cleansing, but godly sorrow and turning. The pastors said you CAN’T clean yourself up to come to God, this passage says otherwise. In fact the Repentance of 2Cor7:10-11 is Absolutely mandatory when coming to God. The old man MUST be Crucified in this Process. Otherwise he will come into the Kingdom as a thief & robber.

These preachers Keep him alive by advocating a system that condones him immoral behavior.

Example: 4

You come as you are. You are powerless when it comes to your sin. You cannot forgive sin only God can. David said, "...against You and You only have I sinned..." speaking of God. We come as we are and repent. God does the forgiving, cleansing and with his help and empowerment we turn. Grace says there is nothing you can do to make God love you less and there is nothing you can do to make God love you more.  Mark

Great to hear from you. A couple things to consider. One is I am not sure the Bible says, "come as you are.". The thrust of the Scriptures is that He has come to us. The basic idea of repentance is to think. In the Greek there is a prefix on the word which means after and different. So it means to think different after. In other word I have had a former thought and am now embracing a second thought. This is a condition of openness and seeking. So as Christ comes to my life I must repent or having a heart, mind willinmg to embrace a second thought. What do you think? Stephen

Response:

Again, the Dynamic of True Repentance is missing in the statements above. There is not CLEARING of the wrong doing. Just taking up a ‘Second thought’ and embracing a process of cleaning. THIS violates the Direct Command of Scripture, ‘Expect you Repent, you will Perish!’ You are NOT Powerless when it comes to your sin. The Bible CLEARLY shows this over and over again. ‘If you DO well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not well Sin Lays at the Door. And its Desire is for you, but you should RULE over it!’ Gen4:7  If this Doing Well is NOT the Clearing and Purity described in 2Cor7:10-11, I don’t know what is!

Example 5:

We do not crucify our old man but we put it on the altar to die with Christ. The only thing he asks for is our submission to him. He does the rest. If we work in our will and power to crucify our sinful nature we will never make it. Or, if we did, we would end up with spiritual pride and think we could earn our way to heaven.  Pastor Jeff

A person getting saved must understand that Jesus is Lord.  The trouble with the "old man" is that the "old man" wants to bow to one!  As one grows and matures in their walk with Jesus, the "old man" will either "win" or "lose" depending upon how much we "feed him!" For power and peace in a life, "Jesus is Lord" is what it is!  Mike

When we say one comes as he is to the Lord.  We mean that we cant clean ourselves up.  God does the cleaning.  We repent.  But God does the cleaning.  In 1 John 1 it says "If we walk in the Light as he is the light then we have fellowship with one another and the blood of jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness."

Let me try and answer the question I think you are asking.  When we come to the Lord the only way we can come is by faith believing that He is Lord.  Our part is believing that He is God and asking him to forgive us of our sins(repenting).  His part is setting us free.  Romans 5:1 says "therefore, since we have been justified(Made right) through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." But repentance doesnt happen once and for all time.  Its an ongoing walk with God.  And as He reveals areas in our life where we are still in control or we are walking outside of His will we have to repent.  It is a lifetime journey.

Response:

If we Do not Crucify the Old man according to Gal5:24, WHO DOES? The Apostle says conclusively that, ‘Those who are Christ’s HAVE CRUCIFIED the flesh with its passions and desires!’ Literal Translation:

To Crucify one: metaph. to crucify the flesh, destroy its power utterly. Therefore if we DON’T Crucify the flesh we won’t make it. You don’t feed the old man because he is DEAD Already or you Never Repented to begin with. Again, what is the Purpose of Repentance according to the Scriptures if not a Cleaning up? The Act of Repenting is where the Purity is Derived. God has ORDERED it this way! Of Course the Blood of Christ Cleanses us from all unrighteousness, but 1John is NOT talking about Repentance. He is speaking to one ALREADY Walking, Obeying and Abiding in the Light! Then you have the Ultimate Privilege of Confessing the rare occasion of sin as a follower of Christ.

Whoever is Born of God Sinneth Not! John Affirms in his Epistle. Therefore the conclusion of the matter is not sin, but RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Repentance happens in the Crisis of Conviction brought about by the Holy Spirit opening the eyes of our understanding making us wise unto Salvation.  It’s not a LIFETIME Journey, as this pastor (and many others) have implied. The Clearing and Purity DOES happen ‘once’ for all time. ‘He Purified their hearts by faith!’ Peter affirms in Acts15:9 speaking of the Gentiles coming to Repentance in Antioch. He said nothing bout them entering into a ‘Process’ of sin repent, sin repent, as these pastors constantly imply.

They have the Process Completely Fouled up and in Reverse and as a result NO ONE is coming to True Repentance or Saving Faith.

Example 6:

Dan, in answer to your question, no, a person does not have to clean up their life before receiving Jesus. God wishes us to come to Him just as we are. After asking Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, He will then help us to clean up our act. He never expects us to do it on our own.

Dan,

Greetings.  I think it may be the wrong question to be asking at this time.  I would encourage this person to first ask, “Do I want to follow Jesus?”  When the answer is, “yes” (and it often takes time on our journey to get to this place with honesty) the best thing to do is to then ask Jesus about the adultery.  The person who genuinely is interested in following Jesus will do whatever Jesus tells them. Keep asking questions.  Eric

Dan- A person doesn't have to clean up their act to receive Jesus. In fact, a person could never clean up enough for Jesus--that is where grace comes into the picture. God knew that we would never be able to be in relationship with him unless he made the way. So Jesus came to earth, paid the price for our sin on the cross, and then beat sin and death when he rose from the dead 3 days later! Isn't that awesome? Jesus stepped into our messy lives to show us how much he loves us, and to show us that he wants to be in relationship with him now and forever!
To receive Jesus you just have to let him know that you want to receive him! He listens when you pray, and he has been chasing after you this whole time! Jesus loves you, Dan! You can be a part of his family, a part of a community of people who are seeking after him.
I hope this helps answer your question! I'd love to hear your thoughts and how you came across my email. Have a good night, Dan!  Stefanie

Response:

The Deception is universal. Because NO ONE Preaches or Understands true Repentance they automatically equate the clean up AFTER someone comes to Christ. They don’t see it as a Process of godly sorrow for sin or a Clearing that happens in Repentance. Therefore with the whole process Reversed, the sin never actually stops and the so-called converts remains in bondage to it. Even when the sin is ‘Adultery’ its forsaken as a ‘Journey’, not in Repentance. Jesus has to take them in ‘as is’ and hope that their Gratitude for His Great Sacrifice will motive them to Change somewhere down the road. (but the meantime they will keep committing their adultery because they are powerless to stop!)

These pastors view Salvation as God extending to man a means by which he can be forgiven of his sinful life and continue in it at the same time. Grace is merely God overlooking the wrong doing and saving man in spite of his chronic rebellion. Instead of a Redemption from the Corrupting influence of sin, as the Bible Clearly shows, through a Process of Repentance and Faith, they have it that God is not really concerning over our sin, but anxious to bestow us with eternal life if we would just ‘Receive’ Him by faith.

As you can see, Repentance (the repentance described in the Bible) is OUT the Window! Even the Pastors who use the Term DON’T mean it has anything to do with Stopping the sin. That’s why our initial  statement, with all the fluff removed, shows Exactly what they are preaching as the Gospel today:

....There is no sin you have to stop doing to get saved...No sin you have to stop doing to stay saved ..In fact if you try and please God by not sinning you cancel Grace out because Salvation is Trusting that God sees you as Jesus not sinning when you sin.

We could show hundreds more of these emails, exerts from sermons and books, Clips from their Videos and it would all BOIL down to the SAME thing. NO ONE is Preaching the Repentance of the Bible or even making an honest attempt to Bring the people OUT of their sins! The Whole System is under the influence of Strong Delusion and the spirit of error. The Truth has been Twisted almost beyond recognition! If there is ANYONE remaining in church leadership who can Discern the Dark hour we are presently facing, we HAVE NOT been able to find them.

“If you are out there, Please CONTEND for the Faith, before it’s too late.”
